The Knoxville Community School Board approved moving forward with the general design and location of the auditorium during last night’s meeting. The proposed location for the building will be off of the southwest corner of the High School. Lead engineer Vitus Bering told the board that they were ready to wrap up the schematic design phase by the end of this month, and move forward to the design and development phase. The board also discussed what they thought was a successful laptop rollout, and talked about the possibility of using an online fee payment service.
