The annual Festival of Trees and Lights is being held this weekend at Marion County Park. The event, which is put on by the Marion County Historical Society, gives individuals and organizations the chance to decorate one of the more than 40 trees that are scattered among the historical village buildings. The trees are judged by those who visit, with the winner being the tree with the most donations in their bucket. All donations will go to Marion County Community Action for Christmas baskets for needy families. The festival runs from 1-5pm Saturday and Sunday – call 891-6883 for more information.
