A Toyota sedan was significantly damaged following a two-vehicle accident Monday evening on eastbound Highway 163. The collision occurred around 5:00 yesterday evening near the Clark street exit, when the Toyota driven by 29-year-old Derrick Simms of Oskaloosa hit the rear left wheel of a Two Rivers Cooperative anhydrous ammonia trailer. Simms then lost control of the vehicle, rolled and came to a rest in the median. Simms, and the driver of the truck, were both unharmed. The accident was investigated by the Pella Police Department.
