Represenative Dave Loebsack and members of the business and veterans’ community got a chance to tour the VA Hospital Campus Saturday at the invitation of developer James Washington. Washington and a representative from the VA led the tour, and Washington explained the three components for his development plans – the educational component, veterans’ housing, and job creation. He noted that more than one educational institution has expressed interest in portions of the campus. He also said that all the buildings on the south side of Pleasant are being planned for veterans’ housing use.
