Representative Leonard Boswell was in Knoxville yesterday. Boswell stopped by the Chamber of Commerce office before taking a quick tour of downtown. He met with Dan McKay of McKay Insurance. They discussed what problems and issues small businesses face, and then McKay took Boswell on a tour of Peace Tree Brewing Company. Afterward, Boswell answered questions about the supercommittee’s recent failure, saying he was very disappointed by their efforts. He adds that he’ll continue his efforts to improve infrastructure and education. Boswell had dinner at Casa Grande before leaving town.
