Knoxville Girls’ Basketball coach Jim Uitermarkt and the basketball program are gearing back up for Coaches vs Cancer once again. Already over 60 items have been donated to the silent auction for the games, which occur January 21 against Chariton. Pizza Hut in Knoxville is already starting to help out. Beginning Monday, $1 from each evening buffet sold will go toward Coaches vs Cancer. Uitermarkt says that that’s one many such new events this year. The Lil Big Red Radio will be there from 4-7pm Monday, playing music and making announcements.
