Marion County Democratic Party Chair Anita Martin says that their caucus training went very well during their Central Committe meeting on Wednesday. Martin says that despite the fact there’s no opposition to President Obama, it’s still vital that Democrats come to caucus. She says that the caucus is a time for the party to organize and connect at the grassroots level. Chairs are decided for wards and townships, and the groups work to put together a platform that they will take to the county and state conventions. The caucuses are January 3rd at 7pm.
