No services have been impacted after a fire at the Department of Human Services in Knoxville caused minimal damage Sunday morning. DHS spokesman Roger Munns says that nothing in their office had any damage caused to it. All records and computers are safe, and the office will continue to function as a part-time office. The Red Rock Community Action Program has also not been impacted as a result of the fire. The fire was spotted Sunday morning after a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted smoke in the back of the building. The Knoxville Rural Fire Department put out the blaze relatively quickly.
