The Christmas tradition of having a feast doesn’t have to be unhealthy. Dianne Pettit, a Education Dietitian at Pella Regional Health center told KNIA/KRLS News that there are some easy tips to keeping yourself from overloading on food over the holiday weekend. She says one thing that people should do is to make sure that half of each plate is vegetables and fruits. She also said that being more sociable often times leads to eating less at a party.
