For the fourth straight year, Habitat for Humanity of Marion County has been awarded a $50,000 State Housing Trust Fund grant from the Iowa Finance Authority. The funding is made available through the State Housing Trust Fund’s Project-Based program. That program provides financing for the development of affordable housing units. Marion County Habitat Director Lisa Houser thanks the program and Iowa Finance Authority for their support. She says this grant is always a huge help. This year, the money will be used for the house on East Main Street in Knoxville.
