The Habitat for Humanity home being built on East Main Street in Knoxville is just a little bit different. Marion County Habitat Director Lisa Houser says that they are using a different floor plan than they have in the past. She says people have asked her questions about its size, but notes that it’s the same size as other Habitat houses built recently in Marion County. It just appears bigger because it’s a split-level, and there’s no true basement built into it. Houser says she’s excited to see the finished project. The house is being built by the Knoxville Construction Trades class.
