[simage=6745,200,n,left] KNIA/KRLS has learned that a man wanted in connection with an arson fire to the DHS offices in Knoxville is now in custody in the Marion County Jail. Sheriff Ron Goemaat tells KNIA/KRLS News that David Allen Brommel of rural Indianola turned himself in to Warren County officials and that Marion County Deputies transported him to the Marion County facility today. He has been charged with Second Degree Arson, a felony, and has a scheduled court appearance in the Marion County Courthouse tomorrow morning.
The fire was set to the DHS offices sometime around 5:00 am Sunday, following a similar fire to the same building a week before. A suspicious fire also destroyed the DHS offices in Indianola earlier this month. No connection to the Indianola fire has been officially made. KNIA/KRLS will provide more information as soon as it becomes official.
