The Strike Out Cancer Fundraiser starts today. Middle School day gets underway starting at 1pm at Fairlane Bowl. The bowling fundraiser is a new part of the Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser that is hosted by Knoxville High School Athletics. High school student Katie Utterback is the main organizer of the event. She says that all the money raised will go straight toward the Coaches vs. Cancer event on January 21st. Strike Out Cancer continues Wednesday and Thursday with High School Day and Community Day, respectively. Utterback says the goal for the event is $4800.
