Even if you’re not eighteen, you can still caucus. Marion County Iowa Democrats Chairwoman Anita Martin says that anyone between the ages of 15-17 that won’t be 18 before the November election is eligible to become a junior delegate. Junior delegates automatically get to go to the county and district conventions and meet with candidates. Martin says the only stipulation is that they must report back what they learned. Martin says this is a great way to start getting involved at a young age and learn what how politics works. Anyone interested should contact Martin at 641-218-4699.
