[simage=6752,200,y,left] A Knoxville woman is in Marion County Jail on $50,000 cash bond after being arrested Thursday and charged with possession and delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance. 47-year-old LeeAnne Meriweather is accused of selling three 30mg pills of oxycodone to an undercover Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force agent in May. She also allegedly sold seven 30mg pills of oxycodone to an undercover agent in June. Meriweather has a preliminary hearing set for January 6th. She is on the Iowa Sex Abuse Registry after being convicted of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse in 2005.
