As many people in Marion County prepare to caucus tonight, there are some things to keep in mind. In the Republican side, candidate representatives from each campaign will be given time to speak on behalf of their candidate. Once that’s finished, sheets of paper will be handed out to vote. Votes will be counted in front of the caucus, with the results at each site being sent to the Republican Party of Iowa. After the presidential poll is completed, the caucus then elects delegates and discusses platform resolutions.
