The Central College Symphonic Wind Ensemble begins its annual tour with two performances in central Iowa Wednesday and Thursday. Nine performances follow in New Orleans and the surrounding area. Wednesday the Ensemble will be at the Temple for Performing Arts in Des Moines at 7:30 PM, and Thursday they will perform at 8 PM at Oskaloosa High. The performance is titled “Salute to American Composers.” The Ensemble is directed by Central College Professor of Music Mitch Lutch (rhymes with Dutch).
