During the week of December 25, 2011, to December 31, 2011, the Pella Police Department
received 107 calls for service, issued 22 citations, 49 warnings, 4 parking tickets and arrested 3
people resulting in 5 charges.

COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS

During the week of December 25, 2011, to December 31, 2011, the communications center
fielded 209 telephone calls, assisted 35 people at the window, and fielded 32 incoming calls on
the 911 system.

ARRESTS
• On 12/27/11 Matthew J. Van Klompenburg, 27, of Pella was charged with public
intoxication. Matthew was incarcerated for the night.
• On 12/31/11 Michael D. Followill Jr, 28, of Runnells was charged with operating while
intoxicated. Michael was incarcerated for the night.
• On 12/31/11 Joshua M. Brinegar, 34, of Monroe was charged with operating while
intoxicated, driving while suspended, and two counts of neglect of a dependent person.
Joshua was incarcerated for the night.
