The Marion County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on a resolution to refund their general obligation bonds from the 2005 County Law Enforcement Center project during their regular meeting Monday morning. A representative at Public Financial Management last month said that the board could possibly save up to $20,000 per year by doing so due to favorable financial conditions. The Board will also vote on amending guidelines for General Assistance and Veterans Affairs in the County. The meeting is at 8:30 at the Marion County Courthouse.
