[simage=6818,max,n,center,]The Pella School Board met yesterday for its first regular work session of the year. The work session focused mostly on the Pella School District’s plans to implement weekly professional development time. Before the meeting started, a few parents addressed the council, voicing concerns about the new schedules weekly short day, and dealing with the logistics of a late start or early release. During the work session the board members reviewed polling results on parental feedback on what approach would be best for the development day. According to Pella School District Superintendent Greg Ebeling said that the response rate on the poll was about 25% of the parents with students in the district.
