Monday is Martin Luther King Day. King was a tireless advocate of peace and equality during the civil rights movement. Reverend King came to Pella and spoke at Central College as part of his 1967 tour before being assassinated the next year. To celebrate the holiday, Central College alum Chris Weaver will present a concert of mostly gospel songs. The Concert is free to attend, and will be Monday morning at 11:00 AM in Dowstra Auditorium on the Central College Campus.
