The Pleasantville FFA Alumni are closer to opening their livestock learning farm. The vision for the learning farm is to have a safe environment where students can raise livestock hands-on and learn more about modern production. FFA Alumni President Bryan Thill says that creating this hands-on experience is the best way to help students interested in careers in agriculture. The Myers family has already donated a piece of land for use south of the golf course. The Pleasantville FFA is currently holding a grain drive to help raise funds. For more information on the farm and the grain drive, call 641-891-4025.
