Aaron Thomas will be the guest speaker at the 52nd Annual Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet on Saturday. Thomas is the son of the late Aplington-Parkersburg head football coach Ed Thomas. He will discuss how to deal with adversity and make the most of all opportunities. The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce will also present their 2011 Community Impact Awards. The banquet starts at 5pm at the Red Rock Cultural Center with a social hour. Dinner will be at six, and the program begins at seven. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at the Chamber Office.
