Dozens of people visited the Marion County Extension Office yesterday as they held an open house of their new facility. The building, formally known as the Trabert Center, features much more space than their previous location. This includes meeting rooms and classrooms in addition to office space. These new rooms are named after various native trees. Program Director Dale Miller says that it feels great to be able to show off the new place. He says they worked hard to get everything ready in time for yesterday, and he’s happy to have been able to pull it off. The new facility is located at 210 N. Iowa St.
