Close to 90 people gathered at the Swamp Fox Pub and Grille Friday afternoon at the Knoxville Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2012 luncheon. Those introduced into the Hall of Fame this year were – Bob Edwards, class of 1949; Dave Capitani, class of 1979, Joe Glissman, class of 1998, and the 1980 boys’ cross country team. The inductees shared memories and stories of the glory days with an appreciative crowd. The group was also honored between the girls’ and boys’ basketball games against Grinnell Friday night. This was the eighth class to be inducted into the Knoxville Athletics Hall of Fame.
