Today Central College will host a fair to showcase startup businesses. The fair is part of a statewide initiative by StartUpIowa to help get the word out that all communities in Iowa have innovators within them. Joel Bennett, Chief Dream Chaser at Veel Hoeden in Pella and an organizer of the event at Central tells KNIA/KRLS News that the fairs will provide a great chance for the people of Marion County to connect with local small businesses. The event starts at 3:00 in the Graham Conference Center, and will run until 6:00.
