[simage=6987,max,n,center,]The StartUpIowa Fair at Central College was a big success. That’s what Wade Steenhoek, Director of the Martin Heerema Entrepreneurship Program at Central tells KNIA/KRLS. He says that there were all kinds of local startups, ranging from custom woodworking to drink spices. Steenhoek says that one of the elements he is most proud of that he saw at the fair was the networking at the fair between the different presenters, and other local small businesses owners. He says that he hopes that the event will serve as a testament to the fact that the Marion County area has plenty of innovators.[simage=6988,max,n,center,]
