PCM still has two wrestlers in competition for the final day of the Class 2A State Wrestling Tournament. A pin of ADM’s Ryan Krugler and narrow 3-1 decision over Dillon Hansen of Ballard puts the Mustang’s Dalton Kingery in position to finish on the medal stand at 126 pounds. He faces Kody Krenz of Louisa-Muscatine today. The winner advances to wrestle for third place.

Meanwhile PCM 285-pounder Jake Tool will wrestle for 7th place today when he takes on Gable Bonner of Estherville-Lincoln Central this morning. Tool was defeated by fall against Sean Esier of Davenport Assumption on Friday, then fell in a 1-0 heartbreaker to Austin Conrad of Atlantic. The Mustangs’ Zach Findlow was eliminated from competition at 182 pounds Friday after a 9-3 loss to Lance Evans of Solon in the second round of the consolation bracket.

The final session of the Class 2A State Wrestling meet begins at 10:00 a.m. this morning at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS Radio and check kniakrls.com for updates throughout the day.
