The Knoxville School Board recognized the four students who were instrumental in helping on the scene of last month’s bus accident during their regular meeting last night. Board Vice President Stephanie Vickroy read a statement thanking the students, and they received a plaque and gift card for their efforts. The board also received an updated auditorium report from Vitus Bering at SVPA Architecture. He said that more firm estimates still put the total construction costs at around $5.5-$5.8 million. Bering says the current timetable has the building being completed in summer 2013.
