Young hunters-to-be should consider signing up for the hunter education course next month. Conservation Officer Ken Kenyon says the course will offer information on hunter and firearms safety, game care, ethics, ecology, and more. The course is required of any uncertified person who wants to hunt. Kenyon says they prefer children 12 years and older take the class. The class is scheduled from 6-9:30pm on Thursday, March 22 and 8am-3pm on Saturday, March 24. Students must attend both sessions to receive certification. You can register at the Recorder’s Office.
