The Knoxville Junior Chamber is hosting a bowling event today. Spare Day will take place this afternoon and evening at Fairlane Bowl in Knoxville. Chamber Director Larissa Van Donselaar tells KNIA/KRLS News that members of the Junior Chamber get to explore and learn how businesses operate overall and what kinds of roles they play in Knoxville. She says that this year’s group of Junior Chamber members are creative and fun, and that Spare Day is a great way to learn more about what they do.

Spare Day will have two different sessions. From 4:30 to 6:30, kids from Pre-K through 5th grade will have a regular bowling session. From 7-9pm, 6th-12th graders are invited to a Lazer bowling session. Admission is three dollars and includes bowling and shoe rental. There will also be pizza and root beer floats for sale as well.
