[simage=7250,max,n,center,]We broke yet another temperature record yesterday in Knoxville/Pella. We reached a temperature of 75 degrees yesterday afternoon, beating the previous record of 73 set in 1957 by two degrees. Today should be another one for the record books, as the forecasted high is 81 while the record is just 76. This marks the fourth record high broken this year in the area.

If we reach our predicted high today, it will be the earliest time we have ever had temperatures above 80 in the area, the previous earliest 80+ date is March 17th.
