The Knoxville Morning Kiwanis Club is teaming up with the Knoxville Music Boosters to host a ham and bean soup fundraiser next Saturday, March 31st. Brenda Spear is involved with the music boosters. She tells KNIA/KRLS News that some of the funds will be used to support the music program and enhance their opportunities. She says that music boosters have helped cut down the costs on trips in the past, as well as providing chaperones on those trips. She says they have helped purchase things such as choir robes, music racks, and flowers on senior night, among other things.
The fundraiser will also help the Morning Kiwanis Club. It’ll be at the Marion County Extension Office on March 31st from 11am-7pm. Tickets can be purchased from high school musicians and music boosters, or at the door.
