The Knoxville School Board officially approved the 2012-2013 School Year Calendar and school district budget during last week’s meeting. Business Manager Craig Mobley told the board that the budget would reduce the property tax rate of citizens in the school district by about $1.14 per thousand. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack notes that the only significant difference in the calendar is that next year they’ll be having a full week of Spring Break.
