Be prepared for severe weather today and tonight. That’s the message Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson is giving to the citizens of Marion County. The National Weather Service predicts a warm front will start to lift across the state this afternoon causing numerous showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms are expected to produce large hail, damaging winds, and possible tornadoes.
