The home of the Ned Fee family in the 1800 block of 150th PL south of Knoxville had the roof torn off of it and the garage destroyed in tonight’s storm. No one was injured. The Knoxville Township Rural Fire Department, the Knoxville EMS team, Marion County Emergency Management, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. The home and the surrounding area was covered with hail, some up to golf ball sized. First responders on scene told KNIA/KRLS News that the Fee family took shelter when strong winds hit. The Red Cross will be assisting the family.

Minor damage was reported in Pershing, Attica, and Bussey. Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson told KNIA/KRLS News that the full extent of the damage will probably remain unknown until daylight.
