Preparation for the 6th Annual Red Rock Arts Alliance Studio Tour has begun. The tour is an opportunity for local artists to display their work in their studios or homes, and an opportunity for audiences to appreciate and support the work of local artists. While the tour takes place October 13th and 14th, the time for artists to sign up has begun. Jill Edwards, an artist and one of the co-organizers of the tour, tells KNIA/KRLS news that it is a popular event, involving dozens of artists. She adds that a new component of the event this year is geo caching, which should bring a whole new audience to the event. Geo cachers will find a hidden art “treasure” at each tour location.
