More than 300 people spent Thursday evening at Celebrate Community Church being entertained by some of the best talent that Knoxville has to offer. Almost 40 kids participated in Knoxville’s Got Talent last night. They performed in a variety of acts, including singers, dancers, guitar players, and Taekwondo. Knoxville Noon Kiwanis Club member Jamie Hughes says it was fantastic to see everyone take the stage during the course of the night.
Winning first place overall was Tyler Egesdal, who performed Taekwondo. In second was Taryn Brent, who put on an energetic dance routine. Katelynn Collins was in third. She sang “Part of Your World” from Little Mermaid, and dressed the part as well. Those three also received a number of category awards.
Tessa Wadle, Taryn Johnson, and Ben Brewster also won Judges’ Choice awards, as did Brent and Collins.
