Central Colleges SUSTAIN Project works to make Central College and the entire community more environmentally sustainable. The members of SUSTAIN have accomplished several things this year. After some members began to work on composting the college’s food waste, the college announced they would now be composting all of their food waste. Another SUSTAIN project, Central’s Organic Garden, provides food to the college’s cafeteria. Students and faculty worked in the garden yesterday as part of Central’s Service Day.
