Pine Knolls Country Club in Knoxville served as the stage for a highly-competitive Little Hawkeye Conference Boys Golf Tournament Monday afternoon, with Pella High fending off the rest of the league to take the title.

The meet featured a playoff to determine the individual medalist, as Pella High’s Lucas Boyd and Drew Stravers of Pella Christian were tied at 75 apiece through 18 holes. Four playoff holes later, Boyd edged out Stravers to earn medalist honors, with Stravers finishing as runner-up. Knoxville’s low round came from Skyler Cunningham, who carded an 87.

In the team standings, the Little Dutch carded a combined score of 320, just seven strokes ahead of second-place Grinnell. Pella Christian finished in a three-way for third place with Norwalk at Oskaloosa at 337, and the Knoxville boys finished in seventh with a 373.
