Another milestone in the 2012 season for the Pleasantville girls golf team was reached Monday afternoon, as the Trojans captured the Pride of Iowa tournament title. Playing on a very wet and challenging course in Bedford, the Pleasantville girls combined to shoot a 417; 38 strokes ahead of second-place Central Decatur.

Four Trojans earned All-Pride of Iowa Conference honors, led by individual medalist Ashley Jahner, who fired an 89 on the day. Other all-conference finishes went to Charlie Vanderpool in 6th place, Kaylea Thill in 9th and Morgan Marsh in 10th place.
