The Pella High, Knoxville and Pella Christian girls golf teams all finished in sequential order at Monday’s Little Hawkeye Conference meet in Oskaloosa; but the Marion County squads joined the rest of the league in a battle for second place, as Grinnell ran away with the conference crown.

The Tigers placed all six golfers in the top 14 places – including the top three individual scores – helping them cruise to a combined score of 339 – 52 strokes in front of second-place Newton. The Pella High girls finished in fourth place with a 413 – nine strokes behind Norwalk – with Knoxville taking fifth with a 442, and Pella Christian in sixth at 452.

Individually, Amber Reynolds had the low round for the Lady Dutch, placing fifth overall with a 91 and earning All-Little Hawkeye Conference honors. Hanna Rosenkranz led Knoxville with a 102, and Cori Uitermarkt set the pace for the Pella Christian girls with a 106.
