Mass of Christian Burial for James Datin, age 85, will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday May 5th at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Albia. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Howard Cessna Post 136 of Albia. Burial will follow services in Oakview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4th, at the Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Albia, opening to the public at 3:00 PM with the family being present from 6-8 PM Friday evening. There will be a 4:00 Rosary and a 7:00 Christian Wake Service at the funeral home Friday evening. Memorials may be directed to the Welcome Home Soldier Memorial in Albia.
