[simage=6745,200,y,left] Alleged arsonist David Brommel will be transferred from the Marion County Jail to a prison facility in Mt. Pleasant. The order was handed down in Marion County District Court Friday morning. Brommel will be placed in a treatment facility in the Mt. Pleasant prison when room becomes available. Brommel is accused of attempting to burn down the Department of Human Services building in Knoxville on Christmas Day. He’s also facing felony controlled substance charges in Warren County. The 45-year-old rural Indianola man has pled not guilty to the arson charge in Marion County District Court. His next appearance is to be a pre-trial conference.
