[simage=7425,200,y,center] [simage=7424,200,y,center] Two Knoxville residents were arrested last night on at least six different felony counts related to drug charges. Amanda Lowe and John Harlan were arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, two counts of child endangerment, and three counts of possession of precursors.

At about 10pm last night, the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 510 North 1st Street in Knoxville. The residence belongs to Lowe. Court records state that Harlan has been established to live there as well. Law enforcement found a number of precursors in the residence, including anhydrous, lithium, and pseudoephedrine. Harlan stated in an interview afterward that he knew the basement was a meth lab.

Lowe’s two children, ages 9 and 5, were treated by Knoxville Rescue and released to the custody of their grandparents. Lowe and Harlan are in Marion County Jail on 127,000 dollars bond. They’ll appear in court initially on May 18th.
