Iowa State Savings Bank installed their new time and temperature sign last week in front of their building. Executive Vice President of Marketing David Hoke tells KNIA/KRLS News that they decided to replace the sign after the lights they were using were no longer going to be sold. The sign’s ornate frame has been maintained, but there are brand new electronics and a light board. Hoke notes that they did go to a serif-typeface, where the old sign had a non-serif typeface. Hoke says the sign combines a nostalgic look with modern technology.
