[simage=5446,200,y,left] With the June primary three weeks away, Democratic Iowa Senate candidate Dick Schrad is hosting a fundraising reception this Friday at the Swamp Fox in Knoxville. Schrad, the former City Manager of Knoxville, is facing competition in the Democratic primary in Iowa Senate District 14 from Jason DeMichaelis of Chariton. The reception is from 6-8pm Friday and is open to the public. Light food and drinks will be provided.
