The three finalists for the position of Knoxville Fire Chief will have their final interviews on Wednesday. The three finalists are Lee Richardson and Ben Treutken, both of Knoxville, and Andrew Pieri, of Woodstock, Illinois. Another finalists, Ronald Luttrell of Lima, Ohio, dropped out for personal reasons. City Manager Harold Stewart says they’ll start the day with a comprehensive test in the morning. They’ll then be interviewed by the hiring committee and Stewart in the afternoon. There will also be a public open house from 4-5pm at the Fire Department. The public is invited at that time to meet the candidates and give their input to the city on which they think would best serve Knoxville.
