[simage=7536,200,y,left] Knoxville Middle School principal Brian McNeil has been named the Heartland Area Education Association Middle School Administrator of the year. McNeil was nominated for the honor by teachers and staff members within the school. The Heartland area covers eleven counties and 53 school districts in central Iowa and has the largest enrollment of Iowa’s nine area education agencies. Knoxville Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says that McNeil is a worthy recipient and that the award speaks highly of him and the staff at the Middle School. McNeil will now be in the running for the state honor
