Registration is underway for another Live Healthy Iowa competition. Marion County Public Health Wellness Coordinator Jenn Bourbonnais says that Burst Your Thirst will be a competition that tracks water consumption and physical activity. As with other Live Healthy Iowa activities, it requires teams of two-to-ten people, with the cost being eight dollars per person. Burbonnais says registration offers a number of perks, including a free water bottle, healthy living tips, motivational stories, and much more. She adds that it also adds a competitive aspect, as you can see how you stack up compared to others on your team and other teams in the state. Prizes are also available.
